Concern or Interest with the Beetle Kill Epidemic: The MSLBMDA has long been proponents of sound forest health and sustainable forestry not only as it relates to our industry, but to the environment as a whole. We have worked in the past with the CO Timber Industry Association, the Intermountain Forest Industry Association and other groups on beetle kill issues and the problems that will result - fire, impact to watersheds and wildlife, etc.
