Business Description: Established in 2005 our emphasis was to use the abundant beetle kill timber to build custom fences. Being third generation‘s in Grand county we have seen the progressive devastation of our forests and have opted to make the best of the situation. Our goal is to focus on sustainability in the community and in the environment with an emphasis on the resource that has become so abundant.
Products and Services: Originally using the beetle kill to construct buck fence, we have since expanded to the following avenues: - Custom beetle kill fences and products - Post and rail - Buck Fence - Privacy Fence - Entryways and arches made of beetle kill - Forest restoration and mitigation - Post logging cleanup
Concern or Interest with the Beetle Kill Epidemic: We feel that the resource that have become available are better off becoming a product for consumers than just ending up in land fills or burning away in slash piles. Our forests need to be restored and rejuvenated and mass logging isn‘t the solution we need to sustainably harvest them with an emphasis on minimal impact. Furthermore, a focus on community involvement will stimulate local economies.
