Our membership is comprised of different types of interested members;
Entrepreneurs-Financial Interest
The first is the member who derives revenue from having created a product from the beetle kill timbers and selling it to the public.
These are entrepreneurs who are at the center of our effort. These are the companies who are creating economic value in the trees themselves. These are the Businesses who buy the raw logs and turn it into a product.
These are also the businesses who find obstacles in their way and whom we intend to support in order to remove the obstacles to creating an economic value in standing dead trees.
Examples of these companies are log home builders, wood craftsman, cabinet makers, Wood mills, pole yards, lumber companies or any company that sells a beetle kill product directly to the public whether they manufactured it or not.
Logistics and Support Entities-Financial Interest
The second group is those who derive an income from supporting the effort to create a product out of beetle kill trees but who do not create and sell a product to the public themselves.
These are the companies that product manufacturers hire for their services or products as part of the process of getting a beetle kill product to market.
Examples of these kinds of companies are logging companies, shipping companies, tool manufacturers, Engineering firms, Architects, etc.
Interested Entities-Non-Financial Interest
Ultimately, this group is the beneficiary of the success of this trade organizations efforts. They are all the people who care about the Forests and deeply desire a solution to the problem. They may not directly benefit from it but they have a strong desire to see something done.
They are the reasons that entrepreneurial success needs to be supported and enhanced.
These are the people, organizations and entities that have a need to address the beetle kill problem for reasons other than financial gain. Some of these reasons are safety enhancement, aesthetic enhancement, forest health, reforestation and restoration, stopping the advancement of the beetle kill if possible, etc. These are the things that really need to happen but that cannot without some form of economy attached to the solution.
